Whats Up Y'all...
OK, I think its about time to hit yall playaz with some exclusive shit, right? No problem, here you got it. I got my hands on a new Eastsidaz track from the new album "Dueces and Trays" coming out July 31st. The song is called "Crampin My Steez" and its a very laid back song and it was produced by Meech Wells. You will remember the beat if you got the Snoop Dogg porno because you can hear it in the backround for like 2 minutes. Peep it below and make sure to get that eastsidaz album, its gonna be the shiznit. Thanx to my dogg Don Corleone for the hook up.

Below is the tracklisting of the new Liks album "The X.O. Experience" coming out June 5. You can listen to the song "The Best You Can" below. If you like the song, you can order the single here. The full album should be hot, it got 4 mics in the Source

You'll remember the song by Tyrese, Snoop Dogg & Mr. Tan we premiered a few days ago, called Just A Baby Boy. The song will come out on May 15th as a single and will also be on the new movie soundtrack of Baby Boy. I guess there will be a video for the song too since they release it as a single. You can order the single here.
The brand new DPG album Dillinger & Young Gotti has been delayed to May 8th. CDnow has the same release date, so hopefully this date will stick now.
I made a mistake in yesterday's update when I wrote about tha Shaq songs. The song with Peter Gunz & produced by DJ Quik was released on one of his last albums, but the other one with Nate Dogg & W.C. is new and called Confessions and will be on Shaqs new album coming out soon. Check out the song if you havent already.

For the DPG fans who live in Colorado watch out because Kurupt will be performing at this years Summer Jam along with Xzibit, Shade Sheist, Ja Rule, Nelly & many more. Thanx to my homie CB213 for the info.

Alright, thats about it. Talk 2 Yall. Jermaine

After some intervention from mentor Snoop Dogg, Bad Azz's much-delayed Personal Business is scheduled to arrive in stores July 17.
The follow-up to 1998's Word on Tha Streets was pushed back because Snoop Dogg wanted to put his imprint on the album, something he wouldn't have been able to do last year as he was gearing up for the release of his own Tha Last Meal album, according to a Priority Records spokesperson.
Revamped from its original incarnation, Personal Business now includes four songs that feature Tha Doggfather ("We From the LBC," "Money to Fold," "Dogghouse Ridaz" and "Wrong Idea"). In addition, "When You See Me" features Snoopy Collins, RBX and Kokane. The latter also appears on "Dogghouse Ridaz" with Suga Free and Tha Eastsidaz's Goldie Loc. Other notable guests on the second album from the Long Beach rapper include Ice Cube ("Streetz Illustrated") and Busta Rhymes ("When Bus Callz").
Late last year, Bad Azz released a video for "U Don't Wanna Be Broke" that featured him playing virtually every part in the clip, while his new video finds him sharing screen time with Snoop Dogg. Bad Azz will be flexing his acting chops on the big screen with a cameo in Snoop's forthcoming "Bones" film, due in theaters later this year.

Check out this cool song by Shaquille O Neal featuring Nate Dogg & W.C. I dont know the title but its pretty hot and its going to be featured on Shaq Attack's new album coning out soon. The other song I got is by Shaq too and it features Peter Gunz. This beat is so dope, to me it sounds like a Dj Quik beat and they yellin his name so it could be produced by him. Anyways, check it out below.
» Shaq feat. Nate Dogg, W.C. & Shaq feat. Peter Gunz [Download]

I worked on the RealAudio sections and I've decided to split them in 6 small sections cuz I think its easier to navigate. Iz gotz unreleased music, released, instrumentals, accapellas, freestyles, live songs & clean songs. Ill be adding more songs to each section from time to time. As for now I uploaded a few songs for every section. Peace. Jermaine

What's Up y'all?
A lot of people were requesting it. So here I got it for the die-hard DPG fans. But I suggest you to wait till it comes out and get the CD. If not, get a preview of the DPG album "Dillinger & Young Gotti" right here. I know y'all want full tracks, but I only put up 30 secs snippets in bad quality RealAudio. Remember its only the Promo so expext it to change. There are "only" 17 tracks instead of 21. Now to the songs...they are so dope, y'all will love it. It starts with that tight ass intro, they talkin about theirself and what happened, Dip with Me is also featured in the intro. The beat from Shit Happens has been remixed too. Its kinda intersting because they yellin "Roc-A-Fella - Dogg Pound" in Shit Happens. Might be a serious thing. Support the DPG and buy it when it comes out in 9 days on May 1.

Tracklist: DPG - Dillinger & Young Gotti

What's crackin'...

I got some new music for y'all to enjoy. First off, I have 2 dope new songs from the new DPG album. The first track is called "Party At My House". It has a bangin' uptempo beat and I gotta this that this song is the bomb! The second song is called "She's Just A Bitch". Its a dope song too, but I like the first one more though. I didnt upload the full tracks, they are just 2 minute snippets. The songs are for promotions only, buy the album when it comes out on May 1. The full album will be available on irc this Monday anyways... We've heard 4 tracks so far, and they all pretty good. This album should be one of the best this year. Right right. To save the songs you need to right click & save as...otherwise they wont work..

»
DPG - She's Just A Bitch [Download Snippet]

Next up I got the rare remix of Behind the Walls. It features Shyne and Nate Dogg. Some of y'all didnt like this collabo between Kurupt & Shyne, but I think its blazin. One of the best remixes I've heard this year.
» Kurupt - Behind The Walls (Remix) feat. Shyne, Nate Dogg [Download]

The second song is a new song, its by Coolio and it features Daz Dillinger. The song will be on Coolio's forthcoming album called "Coolio.com". I kinda dig this song, so make sure you download it. Support Coolio and buy it when it comes out, I heard some tracks from the album and he has some dope beats.

The Eastsidaz' first single called "I Luv It" has started gettin airplay on Cali's radio stations. Be on the lookout for the video in the near future. The album "Dueces and Trays" is coming out on July 31. Also be on the lookout for Roscoe's debut album coming this October on Priority Records. We'll keep you informed on this. Peace. Jermaine

LISTEN TO DIP WITH ME, ANOTHER SONG FROM THE NEW DPG ALBUM!
What Up Y'all, I just had the chance to get another song from the new DPG album "Dillinger & Young Gotti" coming in 2 weeks. The DPG were on the Felli Fel radio show on Power 106 and talked about their upcoming album. My boy SikShady recorded the whole interview & the song and hooked us up, so props to the homie. The song is called "Dipp With Me" and in my opinion it is as good as their first single Coastin. Remember the album drops in 2 weeks on DPG Records. Support the DPG and order it here. I'll have the interview later up on this site.

As we previously reported, Kurupt and Kurt Russell are among the starring actors in the upcoming film Plague Season, which is set in Los Angeles during the 1992 Rodney King rebellion. Kurupt plays a contract killer with a sense of humor named Orchard, while Rhames is set to star as a Los Angeles police officer who finds himself at odds with a fellow cop (played by Russell) during the turbulent rebellion that occurred following the Rodney King verdict. Filming is set to begin this summer.

Peace
Jermaine & Lil'J, we cousins, lol ya didnt know???haha shiiiit...

News is being slow on the left coast but I had the chance to get a hold of a new song. I recorded the last 50 secs off a new Tyrese song and it featured Bigg Snoop Dogg & Mr. Tan. If you didn't know, Tyrese is from the West Coast too, he's reppin Watts. This song gonna be on his forthcoming album Called "2000 and Watts" which is coming out next week. The song is pretty dope, too bad I aint got Snoops part yet. I'll have the full song very soon though. You can listen to the song below.

» Tyrese - Baby Boy feat. Snoop Dogg & Mr. Tan [Download]

Ras Kass' third album, Van Gogh, probably won't be released. Priority Records won't to give him budget money to complete it properly nor release him from his contract so he can sign with another label and let them release it. Below is a list of e-mail addresses to executives at Priority Records, e-mail them and tell them what you think about this:
» dan.smalls@priorityrecords.com
» david.ehrlich@priorityrecords.com

I'll be back later with some more audio. Cee ya. LilJ

The news that West Coast legend King T has signed to Ruthless Records has been confirmed. He will release his first album on Ruthless later this year. In addition to this he will release a compilation together with Tha Liks called "Tha Likwid Connection". That should be dope so be on the lookout.

Hittman will start shooting the video for his 1st single this Monday but theres no info on what the song is called. According to IGangsta his debut album on Aftermath will be called 'Hitt's Big Score' and it will drop sometimes in Spring 2001. Guests on the album are Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Rakim & maybe a special guest appearance by Jadakiss. The Production will mainly be provided by Dr. Dre Dre, Mel-Man, Battlecat, Warren G, Bud'da and Sir Jinx. Let's hope that the song with the tight end of the Forgot About Dre video will appear on it too.

Again I'd like to talk about the rumours that Dat Nigga Daz Dillinger has signed a contract with Roc-A-Fella for his next solo album entitled This Life I Lead. Some say its confirmed and some say its still a rumour but nothin is cofirmed yet. He said in Tha Baka Boyz radio show that he's flirtin with Roc-A-Fella, but its only a possibility. He also said that Kurupt will appear in the movie Plague Season along with Kurt Russell. We'll have to wait to know the truth.

The playa MCee uploaded the video for Let's Play House by Tha Dogg Pound in mpeg (high quality), so get your ass to video section and download that bitch.

I also have 2 audio tracks for y'all. Daz & Snoop Dogg appeared on the Luke album Something Nasty. The song is called "Hoez" and it was also featured on the Smokefest album. Daz also appeared in the song called "Hoe Stories". You can download this track below. The next song is a live song by Tha Dogg Pound, Roscoe & Nate Dogg. They perfomed Who Ride With Us, We Can Freak It & Girlz All Pawz. They performed it on BET's Live From L.A. in late 99.

April 11, 2001

I just picked this news from MTV.com:

Daz Dillinger lets the dogs out on an upcoming album that will reunite him with vocal partner Kurupt. Since Death Row Records owns Tha Dogg Pound moniker under which the two released their first album, 1995's Dogg Food, the new Dillinger & Young Gotti will pair the rappers under the name DPG. The album will be released May 1 on Daz's DPG Records. The California resident hopes to expand his independent company into a formidable industry power. "We're going to work this independent like a major," said Daz, who rapped on Dr. Dre's The Chronic (1992) and produced several songs on Tupac's All Eyez on Me (1996). "We're trying to show these big labels we can move something small and make it big. We own this record, and this is what everybody's been waiting for for like five, six years." Longtime friend Xzibit appears on "Gangsta Like," while Daz and Kurupt rap about street life on "My Heart Don't Pump No Fear" and females on "Gitta Strippin'." DPG will release a video for the single "Coastin'." "Whatever came across when we put the beat up is what we rapped about," said Daz, who also produced the album. "The songs just came automatically. We've got 41 songs that didn't get on the album. I just put the hard ones on there." Daz and Kurupt's visibility received a boost recently via their appearance on Jay-Z's "Change the Game" remix, featured on DJ Clue's The Professional Part 2. DPG appears on Beanie Sigel's upcoming The Reason (June 12), and Daz said he's flirting with the possibility of recording a solo album for Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella label. All this exposure will come in handy as DPG prepares its next round of material. "I'm independent, so I'm using all of this to my advantage," said Daz, who decided to go indie following his departure from Death Row two years ago. "I'm using all of these tactics for the street, independent hustle and making it large." Daz will appear on and produce some of Kurupt's Space Boogie, coming this summer on Kurupt's Antra label. He's also working on his third solo album, This Is the Life I Lead, as well as on a host of "DPG America" albums. "I'm going from state to state and messing with the local tycoons that's rapping," said Daz, who launched DPG Records with last year's R.A.W. This year DPG released Long Beach 2 Fillmoe with the Bay Area's JT the Bigga Figga. "I've got a distribution deal where I can come out with a record every Tuesday as long as I get it ready," Daz continued. "I'm going to do a DPG Texas, a DPG Colorado ..." Daz's label will also release rock records eventually and plans to tap into the lucrative New Orleans rap market. DPG are already planning their next album, The Gangster Shit. "How Dr. Dre and Snoop have their chemistry, we can do the same thing," Daz said. "Their fans are our fans. We're going to pick up the trails they did. It's just two dogs sniffing, finding their way back home."

April 9, 2001

Snoop Dogg will be on the new Jayo Felony album which is set to be called Crip Hop. The release date is sometimes in July and it will feature other guests like Tha Outlawz, Ja Rule, Spice 1 and more. The song "All True'd Up" will be featured on the album, which is a straight diss towards Jay-Z. You can listen to the song below.

Here are some updated release dates that were posted by the Priority Records camp:
Bad Azz' Personal Business has been delayed again to July 31, but there are rumours that it got delayed to October 2nd! The Snoop Doggy Dogg Greatest Hits cd on Death Row called "Death Row Snoop Doggy Dogg" is coming on August 14 2001. Y'all remember the great compilation "Nuthin But A Gangsta Party" right? Well, there will be a volume 2 which is coming out on the 3th of July. We'll keep you informed on this album. There's finally a tentative release date for the new Westside Connect album. Its the 20th of November and it should be called "Re-Up".

X 2 The Z Xzibit was on Big Boy's Neighborhood this morning, the hilarious morning show on Power 106. Of course we got the whole talk with him & Big Boy for you in RealAudio. He talked about his album, about live performances, his next single & video Front 2 Back, his future projects and much more. He also told peeps to be on the lookout for the Defari album which is hittin stores straight after the Golden State project. Later on he performed X and he really ripped it off! The whole thing is funny as hell and I suggest you to download it. Speaking of Xzibit, he will perform tonight live at the House Of Blues together with Tha Liks & Talib Kweli.

Enjoying considerable rejuvenation with appearances on albums by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Mr. Kane — formerly known as Kokane — hopes to continue raising his profile with Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Kane in September. The album, which will be released by Snoop's Dogghouse Records through Dre's Aftermath Entertainment, will feature appearances from the legendary twosome as well as D'Angelo, Macy Gray, Mystikal and the Goodie Mob's Cee-Lo. In addition to Kane himself, Cee-Lo, Dre and Swizz Beatz are all slated to produce tracks, at least one of which will feature Kane's 13-piece band, Toejam. Kane, who's in New York working with Jadakiss, hasn't limited his studio time to just his album. The singer has completed seven tracks for Tha Eastsidaz' second LP and five tracks for Mobb Deep. He has also begun working with Dre on the superproducer's next album and will be sharing time in the vocal booth with Jay-Z soon. "It's beautiful," Kane said of his East-West collaborations. "All the haters are in jail. I'm out here just letting my hair down. All the Berlin Walls have been knocked down." Kane, who was featured on nine of Snoop Dogg's Tha Last Meal cuts, also hopes to release an album with fellow Snoop Dogg affiliate Suga Free and newcomer Pimpin Young as part of the group Sky. "We're bringing back that old '70s soul-funk and flipping it," he said.

Y'all need to check out Xzibit.ws because they got a tight video exclusive. They offer a new Xzibit commercial for download. In the video you can see clips from the new Xzibit video Front 2 Back which will be the next single. It looks tight so give it a check.

Let's get into the audio/ video:
» Warren G - I Want It All feat. K-Mel
Y'all remember that I put up that Nate Dogg collabo with French rapper K-Mel. Well, this track right here is another West Coast collabo with a French rapper. It's a remix to I Want it All. The beat is the same but K-Mel added some vocals. Its featured on K-Mels new album. Check it out.

» Warren G - Annie Mae (Remix) feat. Nate Dogg
This song is the remix to the original Annie Mae which was on Warren's album Take A Look Over Your Shoulder. Rare song.

Last but not least I added 2 videos. The first one is the classic Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha by Kurupt. The second is a XXXrated video by Tha Eastsidaz. Its the video for Pussy Sells wich was on the Snoop Dogg Porno. They are both in RealVideo format.
