       It's WC week! As you already know, the West Coast veteran released his long awaited album "Guilty By Affiliation" on Tuesday, so it was only right that your favorite website linked up with him on the release day to chop it up about the new record. Now, not only did we speak to Dub about the present, but we also had the chance to connect with him for a second piece and put the focus on the past this time around.

For the first time in his career, WC takes his time out to rate and review all his solo and group projects. WC shares his opinion and thoughts about his albums, the mindstate he was in during certain eras, and how he rates his work today. Check out this throwback feature, as Dub takes you back to the Low Profile and Maad Circle days, through the Westside Connection projects all the way up to the solo albums, including the latest "Guilty By Affiliation", and even catches a glimpse of the future.

02/01/07 | The Game & BWS
       The Game recently wrapped up his Doctor's Advocate European Tour, before heading back for a mini US Tour starting this week. The Compton rapper and his Black Wallstreet entourage were on the road almost the whole month of December touring different European countries like the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and many others.

We were in the house to cover the shows in Hamburg (Germany) and Zurich (Switzerland). We also got to speak to Black Wallstreet members Juice, Game's tour DJ Kris-Stylez, and BWS video producer TayDoe and get some words on camera for you guys.

10/15/06 | Young Buck & 50 Cent (Part 2)
       It's been a little bit over a week since we posted Part 1 of our exclusive interview with Young Buck and 50 Cent. We won't tease you any further and present you Part 2 of the interview today.

This time, 50 Cent checks in with Dubcnn and speaks his mind on various topics, including Young Bucks talent and the South's takeover, bringing the West Coast back, his past business relationship with Game which was followed by the infamous beef and the mixtape disses, as well as his opinion on "The Doctor's Advocate". Hate him or love him, Fifty always says things that will get people talking, and this time is no different.

Young Buck also speaks his piece on rap feuds and trying to keep it peaceful in the future, as well as his upcoming project "Buck The World". Buck also keeps it entertaining by adding some comedy to this indepth interview. Another Dubcnn classic that you shouldn't miss!

       As any returning visitor should know by now (first time readers will soon find out), we're known for being the spot that breaks independent talent first, the spot that connects you to the who's who and what's what on the left side, or just the spot for everything in between. Since we already have the West Coast on lock, it's only right that we take a little trip out East and South for an exclusive with two heavyweights in Hip Hop, Young Buck and 50 Cent. Buck and 50 take their time out of their busy schedule to sit down with us for this exclusive 3-way interview. Yash and myself conducted this indepth interview which was handled in different sessions.

Young Buck gets into it and discusses his upcoming album "Buck the World", his recent collaboration with BC Knocc Out and Spider Loc on "Anotha Day in L.A.", being a CEO and signing C-Bo to Cashville Records, G-Units recent album sales, his opinion on fans getting involved in rap feuds, and much more. 50 Cent then proceeds to talk about the Southern takeover in Hip Hop, New York's state of mind, current and past issues with different artists, Young Bucks energy and drive, and much more.

The interview runs over an over so we had to split the interview in two parts. Part one is Young Bucks show, while part two is carried by 50 Cent. For now we present you part one of the interview, but make sure you check back with us for the exclusive Part 2 coming in a few days.

       Westcoast2k reached out to the Dogg Pound Gangstas Daz and Kurupt for a very special feature. For the first time in their career, Dillinger and Young Gotti take their time out to rate and review all their group albums as well as solo albums, exclusively for Westcoast2k.

Tha Dogg Pound is hailed as one of the most influental and successful groups in Hip Hop period, and with such a strong fanbase it's only right that the duo looks back to the past, takes a glance at the present day, and catches a glimpse of the future. They both share their honest opinion, positive and negative, about the outcome of their albums, the mindstate they were in while recording, and how they rate their work today.

12/16/05 | Tha Alkaholiks
       Tha Alkaholiks are getting ready to drop their long awaited new album "Firewater" on January 24th. To promote the album, Tha Liks went on a US & European tour which they finished earlier this month. West Coast 2k caught up with the legendary group at one of their tour stops for an exclusive video interview. The footage was taken at their very last show which took place in Switzerland.

Tash, J-Ro, and E-Swift talk about their final album "Firewater" and the politics behind it, passing the torch to the new artists, touring the globe, hooking up with Pharrell, and much more. J-Ro also gives an update on his Wolfpac Records imprint, and speaks about his infamous song "The X-Homie".

       Westcoast2k chopped it up with pimp of the year Dru Down for an exclusive interview. This interview has been conducted a while ago, but it stayed in the vaults all this time due to DD's new album "Attack Season" getting pushed back so much.

After countless requests, we now bring you this exclusive interview. Dru Down talks about his upcoming album as well as his previous albums and the problems behind them, his opinion on the movement in the Bay Area, working with 2Pac, and much more.        Westcoast2k sat down with Long Beach Producer G-Flow to discuss his recently released project "Armageddon - The Prequal", which is the warm up mixtape for the "Armageddon" album dropping in March of 2006. He talks about growing up in Long Beach and hooking up with MC's such as RBX and The Lady of Rage for his projects. G-Flow also speaks his mind on the music business going down on the West Coast. 11/15/05 | Crooked I
       Crooked I is preparing to make his anticipated return with his new mixtape "Young Boss Vol. 2". Crooked I originally planned to release the follow up to last year's Volume 1 today, November 15th, but there was a last minute delay that came up. Crook decided to push it back for a specific reason, cause the Young Boss reached out to DJ Skee to host the mixtape, which put a delay of a few days in the project. Crooked I hit up West Coast 2k once again to discuss the exact reasons for the delay, as well as other details on the mixtape. 09/08/05 | DJ Quik
       You just know that we had to do it again. WESTCOAST2K hooked up with America's most complete artist, DJ QUIK, for another round.

In this exclusive hour long in depth interview, Quik lets it all out. He's known as the humble producer helping everybody out, but things have changed. As Quik said, "I don't feel like I'm underrated anymore, I feel like now motherfuckers is gonna have to stand up and give me a standing ovation, they gonna have to applaud me. They gonna have to celebrate DJ Quik".

       Orange County might not be the first place you'd look for up & coming rappers. The Renegadez are on a mission to change that! The group, consisting of Young Cashis and Rikanatti, are originally from Chicago but moved to the West Coast to focus on their music careers. They have just released their new mixtape called "Stars with Stripes" not too long ago. The Renegadez hit up Westcoast2k to discuss their group history, their new mixtape, as well as future plans.        Westcoast2k chopped it up with Long Beach rapper Bigg Steele for an exclusive interview. Steele talks about his mixtape and his new debut album "Size Duz Matter" which came out earlier this month. Steele lets us into some of his thoughts and recent business moves, as well as a very interesting idea about building a whole new radio station for the West Coast.        Westcoast2k caught up with the legendary King Tech, arguably one of the most important people in Hip Hop history. Tech, famous for showcasing and discovering untapped talent on the world-famous Wake Up Show for over 15 years, talks about their (Sway & Tech's) new project "Back 2 Basics" and explains the concept behind it.        Westcoast2k reached out to one of the most talented MC's in Hip Hop for an exclusive interview. He calls himself Young Boss and that for a reason. You already guessed, he's here for all ages and goes by the name of Crooked I. He breaks it down and talks about the good and bad times on Death Row, to moving on and bossin' up with his own Dynasty Records. We discussed the whole movement and the upcoming "Boss Music" album and what to expect on there.        Coming from a classical and jazz background, producer Jonathan "J.R." Rotem has found the way to Hip Hop after getting his first break by Dwayne Wiggins. He ended up producing hits in the past 12 months for Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Game, Xzibit, Obie Trice, Stat Quo, Conway, and many more. We reached out to J.R. for an exclusive interview to discuss the transition from jazz to rap, coming up in the Hip Hop game and producing for some of the biggest names in Hip Hop, working with Dr. Dre on "Detox", starting his own company, and much more.        It's always a pleasure to share things with everybody out there in which I truly believe, especially if it involves somebody talented and unique that's dedicated to Hip Hop. God knows he ain't no newcomer to the game, he's a true B-Boy who's been here since day uno. It took him some effort to be where he is right now, but best believe it's gonna pay off.
