| Introducing Buccweet
Here is a little introduction to Wolfpac Records' newest addition.
He goes by the name of Buccweet a. k. a. Tha Animal. By age 15 he had credits
that included accomplished producer and DJ to add to his resume.
Pulled
from his San Fernando Valley and pushed to the forefront of the industry, Buccweet
is solely responsible for the fire production on his debut album, in its entirety.
That alone, puts this newcomer in an extremely prestigious class. Tha Animal credits
his production to have been most influenced by Dr. Dre. "Dres the
#1 of all time for bangin production. Timberland for his drum and song programming,
and (DJ) Premier is one of a kind when it comes to sampling techniques."
Being born and raised in "the 818", as Buccweet passionately refers
to his stomping grounds as, has resulted in representin the city in almost
every song.
When asked to briefly tell people what they can expect from
his debut album "Life & Music", Buccweet is quick to respond with.
"You can expect the truth. My lyrics, my beats, my hooks, all of the above,
is the truth!". Look for this album to drop later this year.
Until
then, he's staying busy by doing mixtape tracks. He just released a new mixtape
called "Fix Ya Face Vol. 1". Its filled with new songs and freestyles.
Here are couple tracks from the mixtape...."My
Hood's Crazy" featuring Tha Real Cassidy & S. Bizzie; "These
Streets" featuring Lil Cee & Saleam; and the last song "Who
They Want". He also had a good ass song called "Get
Down on The Floor" on one of the Felli Fel mixtapes. His style kinda
reminds me of Sly Boogy's, and Buccweet is definitely somebody to look out for
in the future, whether as a rapper or producer. Buccweet's quotes are courtesy
