| "We're All In The Same Gang
Pt. 2" (Audio)
The "All In The Same Gang Part 2" movement is on and cracking!
The song premiered on KDAY last night, and with all these hungry New West emcees
appearing on the song and giving their support, this will hopefully have the same
impact as Part 1.
You have Bishop Lamont starting off, followed by Glasses
Malone, Spit Fiya, Crooked I, Six Million, Young Hoggs, Guerilla Black, Big Wy,
and Spider Loc. Producer J-Steez laced the beat, which is obviously based on the
original track.
Props go out to our forum member ruthless95rip providing
everybody with this song. Hear it right here:

| King T Back With 3 New Projects!
Fuck a Champ, the King is here! It's been a minute since West Coast
veteran King T blessed us with a verse, but that's about to change real fast.
King T is back in full effect, dropping not 1, not 2, but 3 projects next month!
Westcoast2k reached out to the King to get the low on things.
First things
first, King T is dropping a new mixtape next week, on August 1st, called "Boss
Up Volume 1". It will showcase new talent as well as familiar names, and
the main focus is to connect the new with the old, which is definitely a good
look for new artists.
"Mostly what I wanted to do with this mixtape
was showcase a bunch of new talent that's coming from the West Coast, like Young
Maylay, Young Noi, Mr. West, and a few other cats. Plus I wanted to get with some
of my homies like Comptons Most Wanted. I also did something with B-Real. I got
a few things from the Dogg Pound, I got something with Kurupt, then I got some
stuff from Soopafly with Richie Rich, Gonzoe, and Daz. I also got Tri Star and
Eastwood, and I'm on like 5 cuts, but it's mainly just showcasing new talent,
cause we gotta get the West back on top. As far as producers, I got Jesse West
from New York, One Eye, this new kid from the West named E, and then I did like
half of the mixtape that's original beats. " King T told Westcoast2k.
"I feel like it's on its way back to the West, we're gettin' a
lot of play now. We just need avenues like I'm trying to give right here with
the "Boss Up" mixtape. That's what it's all gonna be, showcasing new
talent from the West. That's the only reason that I'm trying to do mixtapes, to
get the kids and get them out there. It's pretty cool right now, because it used
to be real hard to hear new talent from the West. But now people are on us, it's
Down South now, and it's coming back around to the West Coast." King
T continued.
Click
here to hear a little message from King T and get the idea behind the "Boss
Up" mixtape.
Besides that, King T also got a Greatest
Hits album coming out entitled "G-Hits" (the old school album cover
alone explains it all).
"I also got a CD coming out with my old
hits that I had back in the days, like "Bass", "Played Like A Piano",
"Act A Fool", "Str8 Gone", the song I was on Dre's album "Some
L.A. Niggaz", or the song I did with Spice 1 called "West Ridin'".
That will come like a week later after the mixtape." King T said.
On
top of that, King T will also re-release his unreleased Aftermath album "Thy
Kindom Come". This will be come out in the exact same form how it was mastered
on Aftermath.
"We will re-issue it. It's gonna be a different
version of the album than the bootleg that came out. It's gonna be the actual
album that was mastered that I did with Dre. The bootleg was just put together,
but we gonna put out the real one. With the bootleg I didn't really mind, I kinda
helped put it together because I wanted people to hear it" T said.

| Warren G -
"Make It Do What It Do" (Audio)
Warren G has been making some noise with new songs and guest appearances,
right in time for his upcoming album "In The Mid Nite Hour" which is
scheduled to drop in late summer. Warren stated a while ago that his first single
would drop around this time. It's called "Make It Do What It Do" and
it has been getting some spins for a bit.
At the same time, Warren is
enjoying radio play with his other joint "Get You Down" featuring B-Real.
As of now, no official single has been announced. However, "Get You Down"
has been added to rotation on LA Radio.
Seeing how a lot of people never
heard the single "Make It Do What It Do", I've brought a little sneak
preview. Click below to sample the song and get a feel of what direction Warren's
taking for the upcoming album. "Make It Do What It Do" as well as most
of the album was produced by the G-Child himself.

| Ms. Roq To Appear On Mike Murphy's
Debut LP
"Who's the bad bitch now, you crept on, paid the piper /
Who'da thought a sexy bitch could be a murderous sniper"
You
should remember that line coming from Ms. Roq, the hardest female rapper since
The Lady of Rage. So whatever happened to her? A question I get asked a lot. Ms.
Roq created a nice buzz thanks to her ill delivery on Dr. Dre's "2001"
album, but she seemed to have disappeared like a sick animal searching for a place
to die.
Roq will be making her return on a song on singer Mike Murphy's
debut album entitled "II Chance". She's droppin a verse on the Remix
to his single "Tap That", a blend of R&B and rhythm destined for
multi format airplay. It's good to hear from Ms. Roq again, but this here is different
than what people would expect from the Cali female MC. In my personal opinion,
I'd rather hear her spit some drive-by killer shit like she did on "Let's
Get High" or "Murder Ink", than something like this slow jam here.
We got the song available for your listening pleasure:

| Capitol To Release Eazy E CD/DVD
On September 6, Capitol/Priority Records will commemorate the 41st
anniversary of Eazy-E's September 7, 1964 birth and the tenth anniversary of the
rap icon's 1995 death by releasing Eazy-E - 'Eternal E: Gangsta Memorial Edition',
a deluxe CD/DVD package. The expanded set includes 16 Eazy-E songs, seven music
videos starring Eazy-E and the previously unreleased song "A Lil' Eazier
Said" from Eazy-E's son, the 21 year old emerging rap artist, LIL' E. The
DVD also includes three HIV/AIDS Public Service Announcements. At the age of 31,
Eazy-E died on March 26, 1995 due to AIDS-related causes.
Eazy-E was born
Eric Wright on September 7, 1964. He rocketed 'Straight Outta Compton' to gangsta
superstardom with Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and Yella in N.W.A Eazy-E became one
of rap's most important figures by paving the way for the rap businessman. The
Compton rapper-executive took the then-revolutionary step of launching his own
Ruthless Records in the mid-1980s and helped to popularize gangster rap with his
solo recordings and as a member of N.W.A, the controversial rap super group.
"He
started the whole gangster rap era," says LIL' E, Eazy-E's son. LIL' E's
"A Lil' Eazier Said," a previously unreleased update of Eazy-E's classic
"Eazy-er Said Than Dunn" single, is included on Eazy-E - 'Eternal E:
Gangsta Memorial Edition'. "There wouldn't be nothing - not 2Pac, not Biggie,
not 50 Cent, not Dr. Dre, not Eminem - if it wasn't for my father," LIL'
E continues. "He started it. He's the Godfather of gangster rap."
In
addition to LIL' E's new track on the new 'Eternal E' package, the set's DVD includes
three Rap-It-Up Public Service Announcements, produced by the Kaiser Family Foundation
and BET. The PSAs are designed to foster HIV/AIDS awareness through celebrating
Eazy-E, a rap legend who fell victim to the epidemic.
In a March 2005 article
paying tribute to Eazy-E and his musical legacy, the Los Angeles Times called
Eazy-E's 'Eazy-Duz-It' and N.W.A's 'Straight Outta Compton' "landmark albums"
and continued, "These albums established Eazy-E, from the then-little known
suburb of Compton, as a major player in the rap industry." 'Straight Outta
Compton' also earned the ranking of #144 on Rolling Stone magazine's 2003 list
of the "500 Greatest Albums Of All Time" and was ranked #10 in Spin
magazine's July 2005 tally of the "100 Greatest Albums 1985-2005."
Eazy-E
- 'Eternal E: Gangsta Memorial Edition' is the most complete tribute available
for one of rap's most significant figures.
"This album keeps his legacy
pushing and keeps his name out there," LIL' E says.

| Video(s) Of The Week
It's been a while since I did this, so it's about time for the new
video of the week (might as well call it video of the month). This is something
from the archives, Above The Law on the cut called "Call It What U Want"
featuring 2Pac & Money B. Taken from ATL's '93 "Black Mafia Life"
album. Haven't seen this in a minute, that was definitely a nice collabo right
there.
Thought I'd add bring another video to the table... Again, we got
some vets on this track. MC Eiht, King T, and Dresta the Gangsta share the 1998
remix of "Straight Outta Compton", taken off the 10th Anniversary Tribute
album of N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton". Yeah it won't be too long
and we might get a 20th anniversary album. Hopefully, cause that track right there
was a very good look.

it, "it's Hip Hop with a left side twist", which is a great way

| Doey Rock "Rocks" the
Streets
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 8, 2005) - Rap and Hip-Hop music continues
to tell the street tales of family, survival and pain, but none as provocative
and compelling as the life of Jonathan Doe Montana better known as
Doey Rock. Doey Rock is the prominent personality, Jonathan is the thinker
and Montana is the play maker
Doey Rocks conflict with
himself, the streets, his unstable childhood, and his absentee father is reflected
through his music. Picking up a pen and pad instead of a piece has
been his therapy. Doey Rocks fans best describe his music as a Talib Kweli
meets an edgy Xzibit experience. Doey Rocks ability to narrate his story
and draw visual pictures through his words is just the prescription to continue
the growth of the west coast rise.
During his Hip-Hop journey Doey Rock
signed recording deals and patiently waited for his turn to shine, but that never
came. Completely fed up with being let down by the people he allowed himself to
trust, he took his destiny into his own hands and created Industrial Works. Through
his company he intends on showing his fans and doubters his fearless ability to
pull up his bootstraps and get down and dirty with his career the Industrial
Way.
Doey Rock has recorded songs with Hip-Hop heavy hitters such
as Raekwon the Chef, Supa Fly, Daz, and Carlos 'Six July' Broady. He has also
shared the stage with Hip-Hop veterans such as KRS-One, The Roots, Nas, and Xzibit
to name a few. From coast to coast, Doey Rock has held down the stage and consistently
won over fans. Unlike any other time in his life, Doey Rock is focused on his
career as a recording artist.
Continuously recording his soul onto digital
archives, shaping his identity and discovering his salvation one track at a time
The
Struggle Is Back and his name is Doey Rock.
Here's the single impacting
radio stations called "The One" produced by Rick Rock.

"Soul On Fire" is in stores now. For more information visit DoeyRock.com.
