Knoc's Not Landin -
June 16, 2002
After several delays, Knoc-Turn'al's debut album
has been canceled and Knoc's Landin wont
see the light of day. L.A.C. will release a Knoc
EP on July 30 instead. The album will be called
LA Confidential Presents Knoc-Turn'Al and
the tracklist of the EP is as follows:
01. The Knoc feat. Missy Elliott, Dr. Dre
02. Muzik
03. Str8 Westcoast (Remix) feat. Warren G, Shade
Sheist, Nate Dogg, Xzibit
04. Let's All Roll feat. Jayo Felony, S. Capone
05. LA Nite-N-Day
06. Cash Sniffin' Noses feat. Too Short, Slip Capone
Knoc has headed back into the lab and is working
on a new version of Knoc's Landin' with Dr.
Dre, who produced many of the original's cuts. No
new release date has been set.
I think they should have released the first version
of the album when the hype was there, and not push
the album back cause nowadays, artists cant avoid
bootlegging, which is Elektras reason for the move.

produce the MGM comedy Race about a cab driver
who becomes the only black man participating in
the NASCAR circuit. Cube, who will not act in the

In other Cube news, theres a new project in
the works, with a benefit single put together by
Ice Cube and DJ Pooh.
"Basically what we're doing is putting together
a record and all the proceeds and benefits will
go to Pop Warner football and basketball and stuff
like that in our community, since a lot of recreational
things have been cut out of the neighborhood," DJ
Pooh said. "Everybody sort of wrote they own
thing. It may be about the Rodney King verdict,
or some of it might be things that we need to do
to try to put the community back together."
"I wrote about the police," Ice Cube said.
"That's where it all comes down. That's what it
all boils down to, is the police that's out here
acting a fool, and what you have is people sick
of the police. Not only blacks, not only Latins,
but you got white people sick of the police, too.
Pretty soon it goes from the police to the government
and that's when you got a revolution on your hands.
We protesting an injustice. It's not just Rodney
King. It's all kinds of things. Injustices in jobs
and everything. That's what we protesting."

Snoop Dogg Hosts 'Girls Gone Wild' -
June 1, 2002

ago that Snoop Dogg will release a remake of the
successful Girls Gone Wild Video Series. Well, this
has been officially confirmed by Launch. Girls
Gone Wild Doggy Style will be the titile and
will feature Snoop Dogg hosting, taping, and directing
portions of the triple-X rated festivities in New
Orleans.
The VHS and DVD, which retails for $9.99, will be
released in September 2002. Mantra Entertainment
CEO and founder Joe Francis said Snoop was the perfect
choice for the Girls Gone Wild series's first celebrity
host. "At Mardi Gras 2002, he not only proved
to be an amazing host and part-time director, but
he was a huge draw for crowds of beautiful women.
Girls Gone Wild Doggy Style brings this hugely successful
brand to a whole new level," he said via statement.
The 60-minute feature, taped February 8-10, comes
packaged with a free, new bonus title, Girls Gone
Wild Spring Break 2002. Infomercials for the program
will begin airing nationwide in August.
In related news, Snoop's compilation, Welcome To
Tha House Volume 1, is scheduled to be released
on August 13, marking the first project from his
Doggy Style Records partnership with MCA. The album
includes efforts from Snoop's roster, including
himself, Soopafly, LaToiya Williams, Mr. Kane, and
newcomers Johnny Chronic and E-White. The song "Fallen
Star" by William, whom Snoop says reminds him of
Aretha Franklin, is tentatively slated to be the
first release. The compilation additionally includes
production from Hi-Tek.
