1ST SINGLE OFF THE NEW EASTSIDAZ ALBUM HIT THE NET!
What Up. I got good news for y'all. But before I go on I'd like to give a big shout out to the homie wscg from DPGC-2G.com for being cool enough and let us share the brand new Eastsidaz song. Now to the song: Snoop Dogg played it last week on his Bigg Snoop Dogg radio show. Its called "I luv it" and its going to be the first single off the new Eastsidaz cd called Dueces and Treys. The song features Butch Cassidy & Kokane and this very funky beat was produced by Battlecat. The song reminds me a lot of the unreleased Eastsidaz song "Wassup" which was supposed to be on the Nutty Professor 2 soundtrack. The beat has the same tempo & Battlecat used about the same instruments as for Wassup and Snoop is clownin in the song again. It also has similir lyrics like the song "I cant Swim". Instead of "I hate water, I cant swim, Ive never learned to swim" he said "I hate crippin. I've never learned to crip. I've never C-walked" and this with the same computer voice. Well, personally I gotta say that it is definitely a bangin song which will blow up fa sho! Lets see and hope that the whole Eastsidaz album will be as good as the first single.

SNOOP DOGG TO APPEAR ON NEW MONTI ALBUM
Snoop Dogg is featured together with Kokane on the debut single off the female rapper/ singer named Monti. The song is called "Fa Sho" and we'll bring it to you as soon as it hits the net. In the meantime check out the sexy advertisement pic (I never put up pics on the front page but lets make an exception with this fine ass girl). DR. DRE DIAGNOSES RETURN TO FILM
Grammy-winning producer Dr. Dre is jumping back into the film game with the soundtrack to "Diablo" and an acting role in "Training Day." The "Diablo" soundtrack, which Dr. Dre will executive produce and release on his Aftermath label, reunites Dr. Dre with director F. Gary Gray and New Line Cinema. Dr. Dre and Gray teamed for New Line's 1996 release "Set It Off," in which Dre played Black Sam. Dr. Dre recently wrapped shooting a role in Warner Bros. Pictures' "Training Day" opposite Denzel Washington for director Antoine Fuqua. The film also features rap star Snoop Dogg and R&B soul singer Macy Gray in cameo roles. Written by David Ayer, "Training" tells the story of a grizzled LAPD veteran (Washington) who shows a rookie narcotics cop (Ethan Hawke) the ropes during his first day on the soul-destroying inner-city beat. Dr. Dre plays a young cop who is a member of Washington's crew. "Training" is shooting, with Jeffrey Silver and Bobby Newmyer producing for Outlaw Prods. Gray's "Diablo" stars Vin Diesel. Joseph Nittolo, Tucker Tooley, Vincent Newman and Robert Degus are producing from a script by Christian Gudegast and Paul Scheuring. Dr. Dre recently won the producer of the year Grammy for his work on Grammy-winning rap star Eminem's album "The Marshall Mathers LP" and "Dr. Dre -- 2001."

Its a cool song with a fresh beat but without Nate Dogg's hook this song would be nothin. The G-Funk-Era site posted this news already a few days ago, but I thought to post it too. CDnow has a new cd up by the D.P.G. called Dillinger & Young Gotti and its ready for pre-ordering. It sais that it will be released on May 1 on DPG Records, so this will be a different album than the DPGC reunion album which will come out on Doggystyle Records. I suppose it will be an independent release which will go underground while the DPGC reunion should be more commercial. I wonder if these tracks are new or old, it could feature songs from the Underground Shit cd which is up on MP3.com. For more news visit the Gfunk site which had this news up first. Thanx.

All the 9 tracks are new and not released. It features a Snoop & Dre diss track called "Lettin It be Known" where he raps the following line:
"Snoop you wanna hide like a bitch, fuc a snitch, the whole world see the bluff in you"
The new DR female rapper SKG is also featured in the song!
I'll try and get them asap.

Rakim's album on Aftermath Records entitled Oh My God is in the process of being finished. Featured guests on it are Dr. Dre, Hittman, Clark Kent, KRS One, Devin, Truth Hurts (Dre's female RnB Singer) and more. Production will come from DJ Premier and Dr. Dre himself. Theres no specific release date but its should drop in Spring 2001.

I got some new release infos: Ice Cube is going to release a DVD/ VHS video collection on June 19th. We dont have any information on this release yet. Then later on Cube will release a greatest hits cd, which should come out October 30. We'll keep you informed on the tracklisting. The Snoop Dogg greatest cd on Death Row will come out on August 21, no word on the tracklist yet.

Now this thing right here is something completely different and something we havent heard yet and I think it's nice to see West Coast rappers to hook up with cats from different countries. The song is called Reflextions and is featured on the new K-Mel album. I dont have any infos on this release but I heard he's a member of the famous french rap group Alliance Ethnik. All you French peeps out there holla with infos.

The new 2Pac album "Until The End Of Time" has been leaked to the net. A lot of tracks are remixed from the songs that appeared on those Makaveli bootleggs and I have to say that they were much better than the new ones. The song with Crooked I didnt appear on the 2-disc promo, but that could change till it comes out on March 27.

SuP, we got some Snoop Dogg news, read it below and I'd like to thank my homie Dan from DoggyDoggWorld for the info:

Snoop Dogg appeared on the late night talk show Conan O'brian on NBC. Snoop starred as the musical guest and did the song "Lay Low" with Tha Eastsidaz & Nate Dogg. Their performance was pretty hot, but it looked like the crowd wasn't into it as much as they could of been. Snoop had them waving their hands back and forth and they were all just sitting there doing that. They weren't too much hyped up. But after words Conan sat down Snoop to get a word out of him. He asked him questions about his new Porno movie "Doggstyle". Snoop responded that the movie takes place at his house, and some things just happned. Snoop said he is the narrator of the movie. He also said that this will be "Doggystyle Vol.1" and to be on the lookout for Vol. II. He also told us that he fell in love with "Barney" because he watches it so much with his kids. I tell ya Snoop is a trooper. Always keeping it real. He also mentioned that he has a radio show across 29 diffrent stations around the world that started in LA on KKBT, it's called "The Big Snoop Dogg Radio Show".

MTV aired a 30 minute special about Snoop Dogg called "Diary". They went though alot of the problems that took place on the "Up in Smoke Tour", like shit not working on bus...(cd player, tv, radio). He also told us about his cloting line he is starting, "Big Snoop Dogg Clothing Co". He said he first got interested into it when he saw the success of the Karl Kani clothing line he advertised last year and thought why not start up his own. Snoops defines it as "Gangsta-Wear". He also said he really likes performing the following songs.. What's My Name, Lodi Dodi, Tha Next Episode and Deep Cover. I hope you all got a chance to catch it!
