paper 11/06/04 | The West Coast Featured On "Crunk Juice"
The upcoming Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz album "Crunk Juice" has a gang of West Coast features, including Suga Free, Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube (on 2 tracks), and E-40. Good to see Lil Jon showin love to the West like that, especially by puttin Suga Frizzle on this (soon to be big) album. Suga Free appears on this hella tight cut called "Bitches Aint Shit" along with Nate, Snoop, and Lil Jon's female artist Oobie. This track has a very nice west coast feel to it, and Nate is killin it with the hook as usual. Ice Cube is featured on 2 songs, first one is the track "Real Nigga Roll Call" and on the posse cut "Grand Finale" along with Nas, Jadakiss, T.I., and Bun B. Last but not least E-40 is spittin game on a short skit called "Choppin". All these songs were produced by Lil Jon. "Crunk Juice" drops November 16th.

11/04/04 | Paris: "America Gets What It Deserves"
paris      Bay Area's Paris wrote an in-depth article only one day after the elections entitled "America Gets What It Deserves". The title speaks for itself, he expresses his opinions and feelings with facts, and I suggest you take 5 minutes to read it. Here is a little excerpt:

America Gets What It Deserves

Bush's recent (and first-time) win of the presidency should come a surprise to no one. It has validated the belief of many that America has gotten what it deserves, even after enduring some of the most horribly abusive foreign and domestic policies in American history.

The fact that it was even a close call at all is a damning condemnation of those supposedly opposed to the Bush Bullshit. After four years of lies, murder, back-room deals, dead soldiers, poor education, a faulty economy, reduced civil liberties, increasing crime rates and racial intolerance he still managed to capture the popular and electoral count. This is sad, if for no other reason than the fact that so many people are blind to the truth and simply believe and hear what they want to believe and hear, even in the face of mounting impeachment-worthy lies and offenses. We couldn't even muster support for the lessor or two evils, which would be laughable if it weren't so sad. What an embarrassing time to be an American.

11/01/04 | R.I.P. Mac Dre!

rip mac dre       Bay Area pioneer Andre Hicks better known as Mac Dre was killed earlier this morning in Kansas City. Dre died after someone shot at the car he was riding in. He was a big inspiration for Bay rappers, releasing over 20 albums since '89. This is a huge loss for the Bay Area, he will truly be missed. R.I.P. to a legend, Westcoast2k would like to send our condolences to his family.
