D.O.C. Returns! - October 29, 2001 -

Yes its true, The DOC is back, he will release a new album called Deuce early next year. Guests on the album are Nate Dogg, Xzibit, MC Ren, Ice Cube and more. Read the following article take from MTV.com:

It's been 13 years since the D.O.C. became one of rap's most acclaimed lyricists, ghostwriting for Eazy-E on Eazy-Duz-It and later penning rhymes for Eazy and Dr. Dre on N.W.A's Niggaz4life. The D.O.C. then got help from his mentor Dre on his groundbreaking debut, No One Can Do It Better, in 1989. Today the D.O.C. believes that album's title is still the case.
"If you've been listening to rap music the last 10 years, you've been listening to me," he said Wednesday.
For example, last year Shyne's "That's Gangsta" featured the track that helped make the D.O.C.'s "It's Funky Enough" a hit in 1989.
"I was quite honored that the young cat called me and invited me to come to New York City to be a part of his [video for the song]," he said of Shyne. "That showed he had a lot of respect for the guy who put it down on that instrumental before he did. I hate the f---ing position he got caught up in. I wish him all the best."
The D.O.C., who's been appearing on and writing on all of Dr. Dre's albums, said he still feels his best days are ahead of him. He's getting ready to release his "real" second album (he's apparently not too fond of his 1996 release, Helter Skelter) early next year, titled Deuce.
"I'm used to being on top when I do what I do. ... If I can't be on the team that's #1, I'm 'a try to figure out something else. I have a very competitive nature."
Lately the D.O.C. — who's been uncomfortable with his voice ever since suffering a crushed larynx in a 1989 car accident — has been playing general manager. The past couple of years he's been assembling a squad of hungry young MCs from Texas to team up with in the studio. His #1 draft pick was Six-Two, who also appeared on the Dr. Dre 2001 LP.
"I met this young boy, Six-Two. He had all the elements I had," the D.O.C. said. "Then I found another guy around the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area, and things started to come together."
The D.O.C went from GM to coach when putting together Deuce, which features production by his camp as well as Organized Noise and Jazze Pha with his crew.
"I'm the guy that cusses everybody out if your sh-- is wack," he said. "I wouldn't care if you were Quincy Jones. [The album] is dirty, it's [reminiscent] of the old N.W.A days when n---as didn't give a f---. I haven't found all the other pieces I need, so I had to go back to my friends on the West Coast to make the formula complete."
MC Ren, Ice Cube and Xzibit will appear on Deuce, and Nate Dogg has recorded a track that may also make the cut.
Whether the album, which will be issued by his own Phat Cat Entertainment label, is a sales success doesn't cause any anxiety for the legendary MC. He's finding salvation with his music.
"I wanted to let God and everybody else know I understand the mistakes I made, and I'd like to do good by them mistakes."
One of his painful miscues was taking his early success for granted and not counting his blessings.
"You don't play with God like that," he said. "He will sit you down [and say], 'I gave you enough time to talk, I gave you a hell of a voice to talk with, but you don't seem to understand. Let me just pull you back and sit you down — you're gonna spend these next 10 years learning.'"
After the D.O.C.'s car accident his life went into a downward spiral. His once distinct baritone was shattered into a raspy whisper. He had to deal with his career being in limbo and the possibility of it ending for good.
"It was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with in my life," he said. "It had me doing things that weren't me. A lot of excess drinking, experimenting with a lot of drugs. It took nine, maybe 10 years before I could see light at the end of the tunnel."
Now he's ready to remind people who may have forgotten him. "I'm damn near better than I used to be. When they said, 'No one can do it better' on that record, they were not playing, man. LiL JaY

Baby S Readying New Album/ More News - October 25, 2001 -

Baby S is currently readying his debut album called "Street Fractions" which will be released on Blast Entertainment/Ruthless Records. The smooth-flowing Los Angeles rapper has already recorded with King T, Kurupt, Kokane, Cypress Hill, Mausberg (R.I.P.) and more.

"It took years to develop my style, Now, I can just do it.  It's so natural that I can't even explain it."

Fans will get their first taste of Baby S on "I'm Ghetto," the irresistible lead single from "Street Fractions."  Rapping with calm authority over a mesmerizing bassline courtesy of up-and-coming hitmaker Step (who produced the majority of the album), S delivers a rare blend of top-notch lyricism, ear-snatching production and clever imagery.

"The concept of "being ghetto" is perfect for the first single," he says.  "It's something people can relate to wherever they're from. My music brings a whole new perspective, appealing to the East, the South and the West Coasts."
Case in point, album cuts "So S" and "Get That" will definitely have the clubs bouncing down South.  And "Ghetto All Day" will have the heads in California nodding.

S builds on a more worldly perspective with "Didn't Ask To Be A Gangsta," one of the most insightful rap songs of recent memory.

Rather than blindly glorifying life in "tha streets", as many other rappers have, S details how most young men are sucked into the lifestyle, a suffocating reality in their area.

"The stuff that we do everyday, we don't ask for it to be in our face," S explains.  "We're trying to get away from it, but it's here and we have to deal with it to live.  Nobody wants to hustle in the streetsS..but sometimes you've got to do that to feed your kids."

That reality is further expressed on the explosive "Gangsta Crew," certain to be another fan favorite.  It's a defining moment on the album, as Baby S is joined on the mic by Compton rap pioneer King T and newcomer, Jibri.

"When I listen to that song, it makes me think back to songs I used to hear that would make me buy an album and worship an artist," S says.  "It's a song that represents the West Coast's comradry."

If there's anything the West Coast represents, it's being about your business.  To this end, Baby S collaborates with Kokane on the streetwise "Get Ur Paper," a future anthem where the two rap over a steady, thumping groove speaking to whatever one needs to do in order to make things happen.

Baby S hooked up with Battlecat in 1994, years before the City of Angels-based producer would score hits with Snoop Dogg, Tha Eastsidaz and others.  S would flow during Cat's production sessions, honing his craft.

Eventually, King T got wind of Baby S's impressive skills and decided to feature him on "Squeeze Yo Ballz," a cut from T's "Thy Kingdom Come" album, a hot commodity on Los Angeles' underground hip-hop circuit.

"King T's really the one who brought me into the game," S says.  "He put me on his album when nobody knew who I was.  That's actually where Kurupt heard me first."
The exposure lead to Baby S's appearance on Kurupt's smash single "We Can Freak It," which was culled from his 1998 album, "Kuruption!," and was produced by Battlecat.  Although the song provided S with a wealth of exposure, it didn't take him where he wanted to be.  "When I came into the game, my goal was to do it big," he says.  "That song was an important stepping stone, but I had to keep going."
Undeterred, he and his production company, Blast Entertainment, signed with Eazy-E's Ruthless Records and started solidifying work for "Street Fractions."  As Ruthless' newest star, he stands poised to bask in the same spotlight as Eazy-E, N.W.A, The D.O.C. and Bone thugs-n-harmony.

"It's a dream come true being on this label," S explains.  "I used to sing N.W.A's (expletive) like I was a little Eazy-E.  It's like bizarre being here."

It's a feeling sure to pass since Baby S is clearly bound for the same accolades attained by many of his legendary label mates.  Once his "Street Fractions" album hits the boulevard, there definitely will be a seismic shift toward the musical vision fronted by Baby S.
"I'm trying to deliver a new sound for hip-hop," he says.  "And I want to put it down for the West Coast."

Ras Kass Album Delayed! - October 20, 2001 -

Bad news for Ras Kass fans: His forthcoming album Van Gogh has been put on hold. It is very important that each of you understand that the decision to delay the release of Van Gogh was made after much deliberation between the executive leadership at Priority and Ras.
The reason why the album got delayed is because it has been bootlegged at an alarming rate because its so highly anticipated. Ras strongly felt that he wanted to go back into the studio and work on some additional tracks to add to Van Gogh. A new release date for Ras Kass' album will be announced soon. lil Jay

Xzibit Talks Next LP, DVD, Possible Up In Smoke II - October 19, 2001 -

Xzibit talked to MTV about his new album Man Vs. Machine, his new DVD and a possible Up In Smoke Part 2 Tour. Read below. lil Jay

"Man Vs. Machine is coming along very nicely," said Xzibit, who's been in New York for the past week recording with producers Bink Dog and Megahertz. He hopes to release the first single in December and put out the LP in March.

"We've been working for a couple of months," he said. "We're taking our time with it. Keeping our pace, making sure it's definitely more focused. Every project, I try to go up another level."

"When I did Restless, I felt that was a stepping stone," he explained. "I've got bigger and better songs to write. I still feel I haven't written my best material. I still feel I've got stuff I can tap into, but I can learn.

"One thing I learned, working on this record as compared to the other ones, is that the more I get involved in the production side and handling the business side, I'm finding out the things that make a great record into a successful album. It's definitely a task, trying to keep all these things in order."

Xzibit has gotten a little help in the studio from his usual partners including Eminem, Snoop Dogg and the LP's executive producer, Dr. Dre, who
produced a duet between himself and X. Newcomer Andre Wilson, as well as Ras Kass and Defari from the Golden State Project, will also be included.

This is what he had to say about his new DVD 'Restless Xposed', which will be released on December 11

"It was an idea I had," Xzibit said. "We were on the tour bus and had a lot of fun. I figured, 'Why don't we get a cameraman out here and film all this crazy shit?' After the Up in Smoke Tour, we just filmed for eight months, the crazy things we had to do to put Restless out. It's scenes from the Anger Management Tour, going overseas, finishing the album, us at home.
"We just picked the best of the best," he continued. "Some stuff was embarrassing, but it's real. You had to keep it in there. It shows a side of me the audience doesn't get by just listening to the CD. You could see a cat get up in the morning and see his breath is kickin'."

Xzibit disclosed that there may be more footage of himself, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem to come — the crew have been talking about embarking
on the sequel to their successful Up in Smoke outing.

"You're gonna see another one" Xzibit declared. " 'Still Smokin' coming to a theater near you."

Remember when we reported on the new West Coast Label 'Bungalo Records' right.. well they officially announced their roster. Bungalo Records is distributed by the nation’s leading distribution company, Universal, is the newest label to rep the streets of Compton, South Central, and beyond. The labels’ roster claims many of the west’s top notch acts, including DJ Quik, Suga Free, Coolio, Hi-C and Chill of Compton’s Most Wanted.
Bungalo’s founder and CEO is Paul Ring, is the former president of Private Eye Records which was home to acts such as Rick James, Cameo, James Brown, and The Gap Band. King says his label will serve as an umbrella for other labels, including Tony Lane’s Lane Way Records and Quik’s Euponic Records. As one of Compton’s most revered OG’s, Lane played a critical role in forging alliances with many of the labels artists and gives Bungalo its street credibility. Other labels in Bungalo’s camp include Organized Rhyme, headed by famed songwriter and music publisher Tony Haynes along with Chuck Fassert’s 3rd Level Records. Fassert, former Macola Records exec, was responsible for breaking acts such as NWA, Eazy E, and Dr. Dre among others.
Watch for Bungalo in 2002: Both Quik and Coolio LPs drop January 2002, Suga Free (produced by Quik) drops spring 2002. LPs from Hi-C and Beelow will also follow.

Also this Spring, Bungalo will drop the all star compilation, Bad Boys of Hip-Hop Vol 1 on affiliate label, Down Low’d Records. Featuring tracks by Snoop Dogg, DMX, Lil’ Kim, Nas, Redman, Method Man, and more. Bad Boys will include songs and appearances from a concert recorded live this October at the Nassau Coliseum in New York for an exclusive Pay Per View event

» Knoc-Turn'al - Straight West Coast [Listen]

Lets get 2 the news, The Bone Thugs are still hard at work on the new album which is coming in January 2002. Flesh is def on it and the group is trying to get him out of jail atleast 4 hours a day escorted by police to record songs for the album, aint that some shit lol. This is mostly the reason the album is taking so long to record, some of the songs that will be featured on the album for sure are ''Still Breathing'' and ''Tha Last Days'', Still Breathing will feature Capo and Tha Last Days will feature all four members so far, no word on if Flesh will be laying down a verse on that track just yet. Krayzie will be shooting his next video real soon and then after it is done they will be shooting the video for the new Bone single, this is schedualed to be released in December, The song is for a soundtrack. Bizzy is currently working on his album, I don't have alot of info about that, although Bizzy has his own studio built inside his home, it's not a big studio nor is it very expensive, he tests out songs at his house and if he likes, he goes onto the more expensive studio to record the song. Theres also a Mo' Thugs album in the works, Mo Thugs 4 will be out in Febuary 2002.

With "Lookin' at Me" in rotation, rejuvenated producer/rapper Warren G says he's ready to film a video Little X would direct.
In the song, Warren rhymes about his ability to scope all the girls in the club, although one lady in particular catches his eye. The track's co-star, Latoya Williams (signed to Snoop Dogg's Doggy Style label), sings from the female's perspective, "Just imagine how it could go/ I want you so/ And if you give me a chance/ Boy you know, it's gonna get real."
"It's me going different places," Warren said of the video Thursday, "and that situation keeps happening. 'You looking at me, I'm looking at you.'"
Although his brother Dr. Dre produced the first single from his December 4 release, Return of the Regulator, Warren said he expected a larger contribution from the hip-hop legend. The two were supposed to rhyme on the same song for the first time.
"A lot of people ask me why Dre never raps on my album," Warren said, "but I can't explain it. He was on 'Lookin' at Me' at first but then he told me he couldn't do it. I didn't understand it. I ain't trippin', though. I still got big love for him, but this record company shit is crazy."
Warren said he finally found some sanity in the industry by signing a deal with his third record company, Universal.
"Universal always loved Warren G," he said. "They found out I was a free agent and got with me. I actually took a pay cut to go with Universal. I really respect their machine."
Warren released his first two albums on Def Jam (1994's Regulate ... G Funk Era and 1997's Take a Look Over Your Shoulder). Ironically, he bolted the company due to its 1999 merger with the Universal Music Group. He released his most recent album, I Want It All, in 1999 on Restless and calls his association with the label one of the bigger mistakes of his career.
"They were disrespectful and didn't understand how to work with an established artist," Warren said. "One time I had to do press in New York. When I got there, I get a limo and ask the driver where I'm going. He said, 'Motel 6.'
"How y'all going to put Warren G in a Motel 6?" he continued, agitated. "I can't deal with that kind of stuff. I never said another word to 'em and I got off."
After a legal battle to sever ties with Restless, Warren said he first looked to his big bro Dre and good friend Snoop Dogg.
"I got at Dre and tried to be down with his situation, but we never got a chance to talk to [Interscope CEO] Jimmy Iovine," he said. "Plus he's got a gang of artists. As far as Snoop, that's my dog. If he had a situation where he was with a Universal or something, I would have fucked with him, but he ain't have no distribution then."
Warren did hook up with the Doggfather and Nate Dogg, who were members of the trio 213 with him before their early-'90s Death Row days, for the album cut "Yo Sassy Ways." On the cut, the three West Coasters discuss women who tickle their gangstafied fancies.
"I felt so happy doing a song with my friends," Warren said. "An official 213 song. We haven't done nothing in almost two years. The vibe was right."
G admitted he wouldn't mind taking a stab at the long-discussed 213 LP. "I'm 100 percent ready, but it's gonna take Nate and Snoop to be ready and down to do it."
W.C. also checks in on Warren's new LP with a cameo on "Young Locs Slow Down," about youths roaming the streets with reckless abandon. El DeBarge adds his velvet vocals on "Keepin' It Strong," on which Warren sounds like more a spoken-word poet than a rapper. Funk icon George Clinton and G protégé Mista Grimm, who's featured on five Return of the Regulator tracks, sing and drop freestyles on "Speed Dreamin'."
"I was so hungry when I made my first album," Warren said. "When I made my second album, I was paid. I lost that hunger but still made a dope album. The third album I did was dope but I was on a fucked-up label.
"This album here, I had that hunger from the Regulate ... G Funk Era, plus I'm with a dope-ass company. It feels good."

SuP we back... I found the tracklisting for the Wash soundtrack and posted it below.. I know you cant judge the quality of an album from the tracklist but this looks not impressive at all. From what Ive heard it has a lot of RnB, there are a few dope acts on it though and expectations are high. You can listen to the song # 16, called 'The Wash' below (i fixed it since it was broken yesterday). We've heard a very short version of that song on the Wash website, here is it in 2:20 length. The homie Destine2Shine ripped it from the radio, yall gotz 2 give it up for the homie. All of those Dre tracks we've heard so far (3x) are gettin airplay on the radio, thats kinda crazy, they promote that soundtrack like hell. Back 2 the song, its real good and gets better every time you hear it. Once again Snoop Dogg shows his best side on a Dr Dre track, his flow shines on this this track, not to mention Dre.
CDnow listed this as the second single (and not 'On the Blvd), so expect a video for this song very soon. The soundtrack drops November 6th. Check it out:

01. Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg - On the Blvd
02. Bilal - Bring 2
03. D12 - Blow My Buzz
04. Truth Hurts featuring Shaunta - Benefit of the Doubt
05. Dr. Dre feat. Knoc-turn'al - Bad Intentions
06. Xzibit - Get Fucked Up with Me
07. Yahroo - My High
08. Busta Rhymes - Holla
09. Bubba Sparxxx - Bubba Talk
10. Shaunta - Good Lovin
11. Daks - Feels Like I Can Fly
12. Supafly - Gotta Get This Money
13. Toi - Everytime
14. Knoc-turn'al - Str8 West Coast
15. Joe Beast - No
16. Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg - The Wash ::[LISTEN]::

Speakin of the Wash, the homie Doug emailed me a preview of the movie coming from an movie database, click here to check out the promo poster and read the preview below:
"With the rent due and his car booted, Sean (Dr. Dre) has to come up with some ends...and fast. When his best buddy and roommate Dee Loc (Snoop Dogg), suggests that Sean get a job busting suds down at the local car wash, the first order of business is impressing Mr. Washington (George Wallace) the gun-toting, dominoes-playing owner of The Wash. Unaware that the two are roomies, Mr. Washington hires Sean as Dee Loc's supervisor. Comic tensions flare between the two, especially when Dee Loc suspects Sean of trying to slow his roll with the side hustles he's got going on in the car wash parking lot...and with the ladies in the locker room. But there are bigger things to worry about at The Wash. One is the menacing phone calls from a disgruntled employee, and the other is figuring out how to get money to pay off the kidnappers who've snatched Mr. Washington! If Sean, Dee Loc, and the rest of the gang don't settle their differences and get Mr. Washington back, the good times at The Wash will soon come to an end."

The downbeat police drama Training Day featuring Dre, Snoop Dogg and Denzel Washington as a crooked officer attempting to persuade a rookie to join him on the dark side emerged as America's No. 1 movie with a gross of $24.2 million, giving Warner Bros. a much-needed hit in the process.

In other news, Snoop Dogg told MTV that he has completed 95 percent of his next album. The still-untitled disc will be out early next year as part of a distribution deal Doggy Style Records just inked with MCA Records and no more TVT Records.
That info is the most importand thing from the small article MTV has posted, if you wanna read the full article [mostly about the Puff Puff Pass tour], click here. Im ghost , peace, lilJay

L.A. based magazine Tha Formula posted the longawaited exlusive interview with the G Child himself, Warren G. The interview is very very interesting and he gave up interesting info. Warren talked about the 213 reunion album and sayd its not up to him if it will come out or not, its up to Nate & Snoop. Warren often talks about the album but he's not sure at all if it will ever come out. He also sayd that he aint been doin nuthing with other cats like Dre the DPG due to the lack of comunication. Dre was supposed to be featured on the lead single from his new album The Return Of the Regulator but he was taken off at the last minute. The album got pushed back again to November 27th. Anyway, check out the full interview by clickin here and be on the lookout for Part 2 very soon.

Here's the official tracklisting from the new Jayo Felony album called 'Crip Hop' from TowerRecords, props to Mr Loc for posting this. The albums title has changed again from Trip Hop to Crip Hop. Expect some video clips/trailers of the Eazy E DVD very soon. As the Puff Puff Pass Tour comes to an end, the Eazy E project will be completed and ready for release. In the meantime, footage is being shot on tour for the 5 Days With Daz and Kurupt DVD, which actually might be incorporated into the Gangsta Shit DVD from DPG Records and released as one project. Daz filmed an underground video for "I'd Rather Lie 2 Ya", which takes place strictly behind bars. It looks good, and fits the storyline of the DVD, which is why it was filmed. Look for that to appear in stores shortly after the tour is done. As always this comes str8 from Bigg Cartoon, props to him for this info.

The song Dr. Dre was working on to respond to Osama bin Laden, lead suspect in the September 11 attacks on the U.S., is not scheduled for release, according to a spokesperson at Interscope Records. Dr. Dre recently told CNN that he was working on an N.W.A-styled song that would address his feelings about the terrorist acts.
A spokesperson for Dre stressed that the producer regularly makes such records for himself, and does not know if the song will ever be released.

Kurupt hosted a 1 hour radio show for HOB.com together with his young bro Roscoe. He played his favorite tracks, his own songs and gave up some infos and talked about other thingz, nothing special, but worth the click. If u wanna peep this streaming radio show click here.

Last but defnitely not least I wanna give a big shoutout to my bigg dog Big Sly. Slys the new reviewer at the site, he gonna write reviews of concerts, albums and so on. In addition to this he makes exlusive interviews, here's a new one he did with Bosko. If you dont know Bosko is a dope producer from the Bay and produced hitz for E.40, WC and is a member from the group D.B.A. Sly's interviews are not that usual type 'question-answer', more like articles from magazines. Well click here to read the interview with Bosko. Sly did an interview with Soopafly in 1999, all I can say, dope interview and worth your time. If you wanna read this click here. Be on the lookout for more thangz from our side.

We got a brand new exclusive song by Goldie Loc here at west coast 2k, and I want 2 take my time thank my good old homie SikShady who made this all possible. This song is one song from Goldie Locs new underground solo album. But check it out, its pretty raw, its called 'Getting Hecktic', check it out for yourself.
» Goldie Loc - Getting Hecktic [Download]

We got some dope news str8 from the Ruthless house. They still makin moves and have lot of forthcoming projects droppin in the near future. thanx to Layzie for helpin us out with the news. Well Ruthless plans to release a new Eazy-E album with unreleased songs, and definitely a big remix with 2Pac...wow..This is a remixed song with added vocals, course..But still..sounds dope....

Im happy to report that west coast pioneer King T is coming out with a new album on Ruthless Records/ Blast Entertainment. The album will have guest appearances from the likes of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Hittman, Eminem, just the whole Aftermath posse and of course some Likwid affiliates. Dr. Dre is cool again with Ruthless Records and is willing to work with them on further projects.

You might remember that we reported on the new Eazy E DVD's coming out in the near future, well there are 2 different Eazy-E DVD's coming out. One comes from Ruthless and the other from Bigg A. The reason that there are 2 different DVD's coming out is because Ruthless dont wanna compete with Cartoon and Bigg A's DVD. No word yet on the Ruthless DVD but the one from Bigg A gonna have rare & unreleased Eazy E footage. There will be a soundtrack comin out to this movie, Daz will be doin some work and it will come out on Lil E Records. And dont forget about the Lil E album comin out at the end of the year with guest producers like Dre, Daz, Battlecat & more and rappers like Layzie Bone Kokane and a bunch more.

Remember west coast rapper Baby S? He appeared on classic songs like Kurupts 'We Can Freak it', Cypress Hill's High Life remix or Dr Dre's Da Godfather. Well Baby S is still signed to Ruthless Records and will drop a new album too later this year. His first single is called 'Im Ghetto' and is a decent song. The single dropped Today, click here to see the cover and here to order the single.
Expect more projects from Ruthless like a new MC Ren album, Dresta and maybe BG KNoccout. Its up to them if they want to drop albums on Ruthless, Ruthless is open to it, so expect lots of thingz in the future, the Roof is on fire.

On A Side Note, the new Bone Thugs album called 'The Bone Story' which is coming out next January on Bone Thugs Records will feature ALL the Bone members. This is tight news for all the Bone fans. Visit the official Bone Thugs N Harmony website for more news, music & video clips.

If you forgot, Bad Azz 2nd single off Personal Business is 'How We Get Down' feat. Doggys Angels. The video has been shot and is already gettin airplay. You can watch a streaming clip if you click right here. At the end of the video they got a short clip for Dogghouse Ridaz too, you can catch that right after the How We Get Down video, its all about partying...
If you havent seen Xzibits Get Your Walk On video yet head over to ThaWestside.cjb.net, they got a good quality version for download.

Speakin of Xzibit, he will be featured on the Ruff Ryders Volume III compilation which will drop November 20 on Interscope/ Ruff Ryders. Scott Storch (best known for productions on Still DRE, Fuck You or The Watcher) produced some beatz for the comp. The first single is called 'You, Me, and She' by Eve.

Nate Dogg recently talked about his new album Music & Me which will be released December 4th on Elektra.
"I'm definitely talking about having fun, with ladies and drinks," Nate said of his new album. "That's part of my life. I do that a lot. This album is a lot lighter than the last album, which was heavier because I was going through a lot during the Death Row days. It came out after Pac passed, so a lot of stuff was going on. I got a lot of load off this album."
"That's all I know how to do, just make music," he said. "Wherever I go with my life, even the good times and the bad parts, only two people are with me, God and my music. That's what keeps me from killing people. Sometimes I have some stuff in my head, man, you wouldn't believe. But I can go to the studio and talk about it. That's my way of releasing."
Nate Dogg shoot the video for the lead single "I Got Love" & its remix featuring Kurupt, Brett & Fabolous.
"I see myself as the ambassador of hip-hop," he said. "I do songs with people from everywhere. We ain't got nothing but love. There's so much money if we get out there."
